As his father dies, anti-regime activist Chandra returns to his village after nearly a decade. When Chandra comes with Badri, an impressionable homeless orphan who claims to be his kid, Pooja is excited to see the man she thinks is her father, but she is confused. Chandra has to face his brother Suraj, who fought for the other side during the Nepali Civil War. Both of the brothers struggle to put behind their disagreements about politics as they transport their father’s ashes down the rocky hillside route to the stream for the funeral. Suraj flees in anarchy, abandoning Chandra with no other men with sufficient strength to provide assistance.
