Puspa Khadka has signed on to star in Shankar Karki’s new film ‘Sydney Blues’. Puspa, who has not signed a new film in over a year, is now preparing to appear on the big screen alongside actress Anjana Bareili, who has also been cast in this film. Along with Anjana, Rabindra Jha, Shiva R Thakuri, and others will have prominent roles in the film. Shiva R Thakuri will make his debut in the film Sydney Blues.
The shooting of this film will begin in June. According to the filmmakers, 70% of the film will be shot in Australia and 30% in Nepal. According to director Shankar Karki, mincher sets and prosthetic makeup, which are not commonly used in Nepali films, will be used in the filming of Sydney Blues. Actor Puspa will have four different looks in this film, which he describes as a challenging role.
Sydney Blues will feature a story by Shiv R Thakuri, who will also make his acting debut, a screenplay by Kiran Ghimire, cinematography by Susan Prajapati, and choreography by Ramji Lamichhane.
In Art Movies presented movie, Sysney Blue, the filmmakers plan to release this film in the month of Poush next year (January or February 2025), under the banner D Media. Aarti Shah will produce the film Sydney Blues, which will have Tara Nepali as executive producer and Dharma Subedi as associate producer.
