However, financial institutions do not now have a good transparent administration of deposited funds, which leads to public controversy. The drama Mahabhoj depicts a confrontation between people and politically influenced people because cooperatives are run by private groups of people in collaboration with politically established individuals. People are dying because they are unable to meet their fundamental necessities; hired employees are dissatisfied with management’s policies and working culture; meanwhile, management personnel are enjoying their lives with public funds.
Bikash Subedi wrote the film Mahabhoj, which was directed by Dinesh Raut. The pair has developed a fascinating and gripping social drama to raise public awareness about financial institutions’ misconduct. Aryan Sigdel, Dayahang Rai, Khagendra Lamichhane, Anjana Baraili, Gaumaya Gurung, Malika Mahat, Mohan Niraula, Basundhara Bhusal, Buddhi Tamang, Kamal Mani Nepal, Puskar Gurung, Binod Neupane, Abha Aryal, Deshbhakta Khanal, Birendra Singh Kushwaha, Shahisa Gauchan, Govinda Raman Parajuli, Sabita Sapkota, Lal Shova Gurung, and Sitala Adhakari play key roles in the film.
