The official trailer for Najir Husen’s film Gunyo Cholo is now available. The film portrays Najir’s distinctive and artistic look and personality.
According to the video, Najir was born into an Army family where his father values manhood. His father wants to make him an Army officer someday, but he lacks the willpower since he wants to be accepted for who he is first. His body indicates that he is a guy, yet his spirit and essence are feminine. He enjoys acting like a lady, but neither his family nor society accept him. Later, in an attempt to find himself, he moves to the city and leaves his home.
Samundra Bhatta is the writer and director of the film Gunyo Cholo. The filmmakers have placed a strong emphasis on presenting an underrepresented yet vital aspect of gender identity that the public must acknowledge. It is evident from the preview that the whole production team has contributed much to creating a distinctive film. Important characters in the film include Rajukumar Ghos, Anupam Shrestha, Sushil Sitaula, Bishal Pahari, Najir Husen, and Sanchita Luitel.
