The trailer for the social drama flick Draupadi is out now. The film depicts polygamy concerns encountered by Nepali women in the Himalayan area of Nepal.
Ashwini Shahi plays the major role in the film. She falls in love with Rishi Raj Acharya and marries him, but their marriage struggles owing to Karnali societal conventions. Once a lady marries a male of the family, she must marry each of her husband’s brothers. Because of her convictions, she must support and complete the assignment despite her objections.
This movie is written and directed by Rishi Raj Acharya. In this social drama, Ashwini Shahi, Ravi Oad, Jlson Adhikari, Sujata Timalsina, Kabiraj Bham, Bishnu Thadrai, Prakash Gyawali, Suraj Adhikari, Sita Baudel, and Rishi Raj Acharya play substantial parts. Mohan Kumar has brilliantly illustrated the Karnali area. Draupadi will be released in cinemas near you on March 21, 2025.
